Description:Sunset sky, lamps creating diffused light on a dim High Street through which the Guildhall can just be seen. A running figure is just visible towards the right of the picture. This pastel image is signed by A. W. Harrison and dated 1917 in the bottom righthand corner. Harrison was inspired to create the picture from a photograph that captured the L13 Zepplin as it passed over the town on its way to a bombing raid over Liverpool on 31st January 1916.
