Description:Oil painting of Longhorn bull, with landscape in background. Painted inscription at bottom: "Earl of Upton 7th winner of 3rd prize R.A.S.E. Birmingham 1876". Signed "E Brown Coventry 1876 ". Artist: Edwin Brown (1814-1891) a Coventry based painter of livestock and hunting scenes.

Earl of Upton belonged to Mr. W.S. Shaw of Fradley Old Hall, near Lichfield.
