Description:Portrait of Hubert de Gotham Parker-Jervis. Half length portrait of a man with a moustache wearing a red hunting coat. He was born 29 December 1858, youngest son of the Hon. Edward Swynfen Parker-Jervis of Little Aston Hall and Park Hall, Staffordshire, and grandson of Viscount St. Vincent of Meaford, Stone. Viscount St. Vincent was nephew of Admiral Sir John Jervis, Earl of St. Vincent. Hubert was Captain in the Staffordshire Yeomanry Cavalry. He married Florence, daughter of W.H. Scott on 20 August 1885 and had one daughter, Yolande. He died 1894. Painted by W. Graham Simpson (fl. 1880-1898). Gilt wood frame.
