Date:4th of April 1923

Description:The dedication of the war memorial, Audley, near Newcastle-under-Lyme. The memorial commemorated the 127 men of Audley, Bignall End, Alsagers Bank, Miles Green and Wood Lane who fell in the First World War. It was unveiled by Sir Francis Joseph supported by Major General Heath-Caldwell C.B. and Mr G.S. Fletcher-Twemlow. The dedication was performed by the Rev. G.H. Hewitt.
