Mr. Passey's pig is on its way to its demise in the backyard of No.3 Council House, Burnhill Green.

Fred Thomas worked at Percy Pooler's butcher's shop next door to The Bush Inn in High Street, Albrighton. The pig was reared in one of the six pigsties in the fold yard of the Dartmouth Arms & Smithy. The photograph was taken in about 1936.
