Description:Class 5 school group, Christ Church School, Stone. Christ Church Schools opened on Northesk Street in 1887, after the old schools in the Radfords were condemned.


Standing far right is the head teacher, Mr Mark Hughes. The teacher standing on the left is Miss Katie Lovelock. She was still teaching at Christ Church School in the 1940s.

3rd row, 4th from left is Joseph Rigby (image donor's late father), standing with his arms folded.
