Description:Old Stafford Society was a local history group, founded in 1925. They organised many visits to places of historical interest.

This photograph was taken on the society's outing to the ruins of a fifteenth century manor house at the rear of St. Luke's Church. The house was demolished in 1963 to make way for a housing estate. Panelling from the interior of the house can be seen inside the chancel of the church.
