Date:1903 - 1905 (c.)

Description:Mr J.B. Ball, Chairman of Eccleshall and District Agricultural Society, in an open tourer. He is pictured outside his home, Beech Grove at Wootton, near Eccleshall.

This is a Decauville car dating from around 1903-1904, probably the 10hp model similar to that owned by Henry Royce. It would be termed as a rear-entrance tonneau with central door to reach the back seats. By this date some cars were starting to be made somewhat longer allowing doors to be fitted to the sides instead of the rear, mostly on larger cars.

He is pictured outside his home, Beech Grove at Wootton, near Eccleshall.
