Description:This view looking north west shows the area around Mill Street, north east of the High Street before redevelopment. The same view now would show Christchurch Way (which opened on 13 February 1995) and Morrison's supermarket, petrol station and car park. The long white building is the former Falcon Hotel and outbuildings, now partly demolished and occupied (in 2007) by the Thai Garden restaurant.
