Description:Samples of repair and construction work on cotton and linen. Examples of hemming, gathering, seams,darning, patching, placket opening and vent. Some specimens have pieces of paper pinned to the fabric with examiner's comments and grade.

Made by Annie Clowes, a pupil at Cheddleton National School in about 1908.
