Description:View across Stafford towards the castle, from the top of the Tax Office on Tipping Street.

In the centre can be seen the tower of St. Mary's Church; to the right of St. Mary's the Broad Eye windmill is just visible. St. Chad's Church is in the bottom left corner.

The buildings covered by scaffolding are Shaw's House and the Ancient High House, with the Swan Inn to its left.
