Description:Float decorated in a Chinese theme, entered by the Lotus employees in the annual Trades and Friendly Societies' Pageant. This photograph was taken on Browning Street, outside Dorman's factory.

The procession through Stafford ended with a fair on the town common. A prize was awarded to the best decorated entries and along the route collections were made for Stafford General Infirmary.

Lotus entered between ten and fifteen floats each year and judged their own entries prior to entering the pageant.
