Description:View of the junction of Market and Salter Streets, taken from Eastgate Street.

The corner building belonged to Harold Parkes, a music shop owner, who later moved to the building which was once occupied by William Marson's 'Olde Curiosity Shoppe' in St. Mary's Gate.

The offices and bank of the Co-operative Society can be seen on the right of the picture, down the road.
