Stoneware dish on a tall foot. (This piece is meant to represent a lotus on a short stem). Thrown and turned by Shoji Hamada at St Ives, Corwall.
The dish is carved with six petal shapes. All over celadon glaze with patches of iron oxide showing through in places. Base unglazed.
