Description:Glazed Earthenware.

H. 10.9 x W.15.5 cm.

Earthenware casserole dish with two lug handles and a cover, thrown and turned by Elijah Comfort at Winchcombe Pottery, Gloucestershire, England.

Cream and brown slip, stylised combed design showing through on the interior of the dish, sgraffito design on the exterior of the cover, all over lead transparent glaze, base unglazed.
