Description:Glazed Earthenware.

H. 12.1 x W.15.9 cm.

Earthenware casserole dish with two lug handles and a cover, thrown and turned by Elijah Comfort at Winchcombe Pottery, Gloucestershire, England.

Cream slip, brown slip over the top, with a wavy combed design on the interior of the dish and also around the cover. Lead transparent glaze, base unglazed.
