Glazed Earthenware H. 29 x W.15.5 cm

Large earthenware jar with four pulled handles and prominent throwing rings, thrown and turned by Michael Cardew at Winchcombe Pottery, Gloucestershire, England.

Cream slip, lead transparent glaze, manganese oxide speckled onto the exterior, base unglazed.
