Shoe horns and button hooks

Description:A selection of metal and wood shoe horns and boot hooks from the Staffordshire County Museum collection.

Shoe horns are used for easing the foot into a tight-fitting boot or shoe.

Button hooks are used to help fasten buttons on tight-fitting boots.
