Description:This view is almost unrecognisable today. This path ran from Belgrave Road, up the hill towards Longton Park.

It bisected interesting streets, such as Ricardo Street (named after one of the Directors who set up the "Knotty" rail company), Cobden Street, where William Blake (photographer) once lived and Peel Street, named after Robert Peel who set up our modern Police Force.
