Description:The Malpass family, who lived at 10 The Ring, Great Haywood. From left to right: Edith, Sidney John, Kathleen, Eunice, Martha Plasida, John Henry Robert Baden Powell, Susan Alice, George, Gertrude Eliza.

George Malpass (1854-1945) is believed to have worked as the Pigman at Shugborough Park Farm in the 1890s and early 1900s. His son Sidney John (1896-1972) also worked at Shugborough as a farm labourer. Another daughter not pictured in this group, Annie Martha, was a domestic servant at Shugborough Park Farm at the time of this photograph.
