Date:1973

Description:Leek railway station was demolished in 1973 after passenger services were withdrawn. As with many former Knotty railway station sites this one was bought by the supermarket chain Safeway (now Morrisons). They also built on former Knotty stations at Market Drayton and Newcastle-under-Lyme's Pool Dam goods wharf.
