Date:19th of June 1939

Description:In 1562 the Swynnerton estate passed to William Fitzherbert. The present house was built by Francis Smith of Warwick for Thomas Fitzherbert in 1729.

James Trubshaw made further additions and alteration in 1812, but some of these have since been demolished.

The house is still the home of the Fitzherbert family.

On the left is the Roman Catholic church of Our Lady of the Assumption, built 1869.
