Description:Watercolour painting by Great Haywood born artist and sculptor, Samuel Peploe Wood (1827-1873).

He was born in Great Haywood in 1827 and was the younger brother of the painter Thomas Peploe Wood. He died in Lichfield in 1873. Samuel was better known as a sculptor.
