Description:Watercolour drawing. A design for the Civic Centre, Stafford, with St. Mary's churchyard and the Borough War Memorial in the foreground and Sir Martin Noell's Almshouses in the background. The Civic Centre depicted in this picture was never built - the site is now occupied by the Combined Court buildings. The architect was C. Cowles-Voysey, F.R.I.B.A.
