Description:The Roman Catholic church on St. Patrick's Street was opened on Sunday 21st July 1895 by the Bishop of Birmingham, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Edward Ilsley.

In 1921 a new site was found on Sandon Road, and after building work was completed in 1930 the St. Patrick's Street church was left redundant.

The building was used as a roller skating rink until the 1950s. During this period the 8th Stafford (St. Patrick's) Scout Group had their headquarters here.

The site is now a car park.
