Description:Ada Denny, Hilda Denny and Emma Jordan outside a grocer and tobacconists' shop at 17 Lammascote Road, Stafford. Ada Denny was the wife of Alfred Coates Denny, she died in 1938. Hilda Denny was Ada's daughter. Emma Jordan, nee Paddison, was Ada's mother.

The grocery shop stopped trading prior to 1946, and the row of 28 houses were demolished in the mid 1950's to make way for the new carriageway.
