Description:Pictured, from left to right: Doug Lane, Bill Reynolds, ?, ?, ?, Mrs Hughes, Mrs Bennett, Kath Ray and Kate Ray.

The potatoes were planted by hand. The horse was pulling the trays of seed potatoes. Two women carried a tray and planted in alternate ridges.
