Description:This menswear shop was at 35 Greengate Street and was run by Percival Charles Sproston. he died during the First World War and is buried at Castl Church churchyard. His parents John and Mary Sproston ran a fancy goods shop and tobacconists in Market Square, Stafford.

Note the display of caps, ties, collars and even an overcoat, on the outside of the shop.
