Description:Reverend Hexall occupied Hyde House, near Stourton, renamed it Bethany, and used the building as a home for crippled boys. The boys were cared for and taught a trade.

Bethany had its own Brass Band, and postcards of Bethany, and the boys that lived there, were produced, to help raise money and encourage interest.

Bethany closed in 1918, following Rev. Hexall's death in 1915.
