Description:The landlord at the time of this photograph was Edward Albert Edwards. He was at the Three Tuns Inn from 1935 until his death in 1949.

H. Samuel's, the jewellers, now occupies this site on Gaolgate Street.

The brewery, Joules, was established in Stone in 1758.
