Rake at work, Fisherwick Park Farm, near Lichfield

Description:This horse-drawn rake is being used at harvest time. The rake would gather together straw and hay into windrows for drying. Another tool, the tedder, spread and 'wuffled' it to help it dry better.

This photograph was probably taken at Fisherwick Park Farm, between Whittington and Elford, near Lichfield.
