Description:Sam Evans, aged 15, is pictured on a horse-drawn trap delivering milk for a Codsall farmer T. H. Wilkes. Sadly, Sam Evans died aged 21.

The photograph is taken on Illif's farm. The Illiff family owned and ran Oaken Manor as a working farm until 1999. Now the farm buildings have been converted into dwelling houses.
