Description:Embroidered pincushion. Made by the Leek Embroidery society, Glazed cotton background of pale blue with embroidered flowers. Flower petals embroidered in long and short stitch in yellow and pink silk thread. Edges of petals are couched in gold thread. Flower stems embroidered in stem stitch.
Four tussur tassels of green, blue and cream silk thread. Cushion edged with pale blue cord. Back of cushion green silk velvet. Cushion stuffed with sawdust.
