Description:Littleworth's entry 'Mayor and Corporation' in the Stafford Pageant.

Different areas of the town entered their own 'Mayor and Corporation', and there was often great rivalry between the Littleworth and Doxey districts for the best Local Mayoral turnout in the procession.

The procession through Stafford ended with a fair on the town common. A prize was awarded to the best decorated entries and along the route collections were made for Stafford General Infirmary.

This photograph was taken opposite the Prince of Wales public house on Weston Road.
