Description:Showing a distant view from near the bottom of Tettenhall 'Rock,' looking across a Race course (the Grandstand is shown in the distance), then quite devoid of houses. Showing, on the horizon from left to right, St. Peter's Church, St. George's Church, a factory chimney, and St. John's Church. In the middle distance on the right is the toll gate at Newbridge. In the foreground on the left is a cottage at the turn to Tettenhall Church and palings guarding the village Lower Green. To the right, in the foreground, is a rock cliff face. 'Sketched by Robt. Noyes.'.
