Description:Plan of Hall and Park showing Stafford Brook and the River Trent (the canal can also be seen in the bottom right corner of the plan). Stafford Brook would later be diverted to create a series of ornamental lakes far more extensive than the water features shown here.

The plan shows the proposed route of the Railway which was eventually routed about half a mile north of the route shown here. Note that the plan is oriented from South to North, opposite to the modern mapping featured on this website. Scale, 1.25 inches to 5 chains. Anonymous.'Day and Haghe Lithrs., [lithographers] to the Queen.'
