Description:Ernest Hector Haywood (1903-1990) served in the Stafford Fire Brigade until 1945, when an injury received during a training exercise made it necessary to resign. His father, Alfred Ernest Haywood, was the Chief Fire Officer for the Stafford Fire Brigade between 1920 and 1941.
