Description:White under cap for calash. Under cap made of two lengths of white silk stitched together at crown, with rings of gathering. Joined part way at back. Rest unstitched. Ends hem stitched. Belonged to Mary Landor (1777-1860), daughter of John Landor, Rector of Colton. She was a spinster and spent the latter part of her life living at 6 Church Street, Rugeley. She inherited it from her grandmother, Mary Landor (nee Noble), wife of Robert Landor of Rugeley.
