Description:Detail of the dedication plaque installed in the floor at the foot of the wrought iron screen that serves as a memorial to the men of the 80th (South Staffordshire) Regiment who fell in the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879.
The inscription reads, 'Erected by the officers, non-commissioned officers and men 80th (Staffordshire Volunteers) Regiment who served in South Africa, to the memory of their comrades who fell during the Sekukuni & Zulu Campaigns, 1878-1879'.
