Description:Detail of the figure of St Michael the Archangel in the right-hand panel of the memorial stained glass window dedicated to Thomas Ernest Hulme, a locally-born poet killed in action in 1917. The window was the work of Thomas Curtis and is located in the North aisle of the church. St Michael represents the idea of 'the soldier'.
