Description:Looking along Lichfield Road towards the town centre.

On the left is the Baptist Chapel on The Green which opened in 1896. The unusual spire was designed by Birmingham architect Ewen Harper. To the right of the chapel is Lockett's mineral-water factory. In the 1970s the road layout was changed with the building of Queensway, the inner ring road, and the area on the left was remodelled.

On the right hand side of the road can be seen the sign for the Sun and Smithfield Inn.
