Description:A view looking from Market Square along Greengate Street. On then left is Brookfield and Windows department store, first opened in 1743 by George Boulton, on the corner of Market Square and Greengate Street. In the 1880s the store was demolished and replaced by a new building. Brookfield's closed in 1909 and became the Midland Bank. The building is now the HSBC Bank.
