Description:A colour-tinted postcard view of Horsefair, Rugeley with the railway bridge arches in the far distance. The protective railings for the Jubilee Oak planted in 1897 can be seen on the extreme right edge of the photograph. Behind the lamp is the Refreshment House, Tea Room and Cyclists' Home. The tree is said to be positioned on the location of the town's Maypole. Postcard published by Valentine & Sons Ltd., Dundee and London. The card is addressed to Miss Lizzie Hitchenor, Queen Victoria Nursing Institute, Wolverhampton.
