Description:A postcard view of Rugeley indoor market in the now demolished Town Hall. Only the clock tower remains. It shows John Moorcroft at his fruit and vegetable stall. Previously the family had a fruit and vegetable shop in Horsefair, Rugeley hard against the pavement near the railway arches opposite Talbot Street. Note the suspended heaters and lighting, the cast iron columns, brackets and stairway.
