Description:Page 12 of 'Drake Hall - A War-Time Hostel', a souvenir book produced for staff and residents at the Swynnerton Royal Ordinance Factory hostel at Drake Hall, produced in 1945. More amenities enjoyed by the staff and residents of Drake Hall. The image captions read:

"1. Full Post Office services, including Savings Bank and pensions. Clerk: Alma Davies.
2. Shop where the girls could buy the little things they seem to find so essential, from cottons to combs, lipstick to liver salts. In charge: Delia Clark.
3. A quiet little sewing party in the common room.
4. The Lounge, a comfortable room in which to sit and listen to the wireless or entertain a friend. The chair-back covers were embroidered by the girls.
5. Writing a few lines to "Mum," or maybe the boy friend."
