Description:This view of Rowley Street, Stafford shows a building in-between the lamp post on the left and the telephone box on the right which formed part of the C.H. Riley & Son Albion Works shoe factory, which stood on the adjacent Marston Road and closed around 1957. In later years this building was demolished and replaced by a housing development. On the extreme left of the lamp post is part of the main factory building on Marston Road and this along with the buildings on the right of the telephone box remain (in 2017). This photograph was taken by Stafford photographer Tony Boydon.
