Description:This view of Camden Place on the Wolverhampton Road in Stafford was taken by Tony Boyden. Camden Place was built for Richard Ford in the early nineteenth century and designed by George Gilbert Scott. Later the building was used as a Y.M.C.A. Hostel which opened in 1925. In the 1960s it was used as an annex to the College of Art. On the left of Camden Place is Timmis' Antique Shop. The buildings were demolished in the 1970s to make way for a road scheme.
