Date:1915 - 1918 (c.)
Description:A group of convalescing military personnel photographed during World War I against the south-facing window of Ravenhill House adjacent to the garden. Funds for the support of the hospital were largely raised locally via Balls, Draws and other charitable events and donations. Patients had outings to the theatre at Christmas and a visit to Ingestre was arranged. Football matches, concerts and sports events were also arranged throughout the year to entertain both patients and staff. Photographer: A. Bates, Rugeley
