Description:Pictured is the Rugeley War Memorial near to its original site in Anson Street, it was moved to Brook Square in 1972 and in 2008-09 moved back to Anson Street to this site.

In the centre (behind the trees) is a frozen food store ‘Iceland’ this was previously the site of the Rugeley Industrial Co-operative Society. On the right is the clock tower which is all that remains of the Market Hall and Town Hall buildings, they were demolished in the 1980s and replaced by a row of shops and apartments.
