Description:In this picture the Memorial has been loaded and the Base is being hoisted onto a lorry by a crane in preparation for the move from Anson Street to Brook Square.

The buildings in the background: on the left is the Drill Hall, in the centre is the roof and tower of the Fire Station (on Taylor’s lane) and on the right is the Police Station.
